The German language has always fascinated me. I was born in Zagreb. Alongside Croatian, we also spoke German at home. After leaving school – a grammar school with a focus on languages – I decided to study German and English in Stuttgart. I have now lived in Germany for over 30 years, completed a philology degree at the University of Tübingen in 1989, started a family and worked successfully in various branches of the media industry. I have been teaching the German language in Hamburg as part of academic lectureships and as a language and integration coach for around ten years. I particularly enjoy being able to constantly get to know new people and experience the successful learning process that we undertake together. In addition, I also speak fluent English and Russian alongside German and Croatian.
